1. Who We Are

DevSolutions Solar ("we", "us") is a solar installation business serving the Philippines. We are the entity responsible for the personal information collected through this website (the "data controller"). 2. Information We Collect

When you use this website, we may collect:

• Quote / lead details: your full name, email address, phone number, region (city and province), your selected appliance profile and usage hours, your interest level (exploring / comparing / ready within 30–90 days), and your preferred payment method.
• Sol AI chat conversations: if you chat with our AI assistant "Sol", we store the messages you send and Sol's replies — including any name, email, or phone number you type into the chat — so we can respond to and follow up on your inquiry and improve the assistant.
• Usage and device data: anonymous session identifiers, estimator and page interactions, and a limited record of your approximate IP address used for security and abuse-prevention (rate limiting).
• Cookies: a small number of functional cookies (see Section 8 and our Cookie Policy).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• generate your personalized solar quote;
• enable our team to follow up with you about your inquiry, typically within 2–3 business days;
• operate and improve the Sol AI assistant and the website;
• protect the site against abuse and secure your data; and
• where you have separately opted in, send you occasional solar updates and tips (you can unsubscribe at any time).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

4. Legal Basis & Consent

We process your data on the basis of your consent (which you give when you submit the quote form or start a chat with Sol) and our legitimate interests in responding to your inquiry and operating the website securely, consistent with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 7).

5. Who We Share It With (Service Providers)

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under agreements that limit them to providing their service to us:

• Supabase — secure database hosting for your records.
• AI Prime Automations — the automation platform that powers the Sol AI assistant; your chat messages are processed here to generate Sol's replies.
• Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.
• An email delivery provider — to send your quote and any updates you have opted into.
• Meta / Facebook — only if you choose to contact us through our Facebook page.

6. Where Your Data Is Processed (International Transfers)

Some of our service providers process data on servers located outside the Philippines (for example, in Singapore or the United States). Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected to a standard consistent with Philippine law.

7. Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
• Correct any inaccurate or outdated information;
• Delete / erase your record (the "right to be forgotten");
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Withdraw consent and unsubscribe from marketing at any time; and
• Data portability — receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, use our data request form or contact us at hello@devsolutions.com.ph. We will respond within a reasonable period (and in any case within the timeframe required by law). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your quote / lead record for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Sol chat logs and usage telemetry are kept only for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) and are then deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (Section 7).

9. How We Protect Your Data

Your data is stored in an access-controlled database with Row-Level Security enabled, and is encrypted in transit. Only authorized DevSolutions Solar team members can access records relevant to their role, and administrative actions are logged.

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal functional cookies — to maintain your session (so the estimator doesn't lose your appliance selection between refreshes) and to remember that you've already submitted a form this session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

11. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults making decisions about solar for their home or business. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Data Breaches

In the event of a personal-data breach that is likely to put you at risk, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected individuals as required by the Data Privacy Act.

13. Complaints

If you believe your data privacy rights have been violated, you may contact us first at hello@devsolutions.com.ph, and you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines at privacy.gov.ph.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision, and significant changes will be communicated via the website.
